Healthcare facilities in india( Dead for being born poor .............?)

It's been heartbreaking to see infants die just after 24 hrs of being born.10 infants have died in just two days in kurnool governmement hospital in andhra pradesh. The parents of poor parent just paid the price of being poor as these govt. hospital were inequipped to handle such cases, the ventilators used by hospitals were faulty and not supplying oxygen.Such cases occur throughout the india.According to india infant mortality rate 47.57 infant die out of 1000 new born babies. It has declined in India from 70 infants per 1000 live births in 1999.But the major concern across the india is that proper healthcare is somewhat unavailable to poor people due to a huge corruption level in healthcare system of india.
Besides this horrific tragedy certain people like Dr. Devi Prasad Shetty  an Indian philanthropist and a cardiac surgeon who is certainly doing a great job in this field.
Yeshasvini  the world's cheapest comprehensive health insurance scheme, at Rs.5 (11 cents) per month, designed by Shetty and the Government of Karnataka for the poor farmers of the state. It is very well-utilized in Karnataka with 2.5 million people covered.
Such initiative should be carried out in an earnest way as right of survival is basic right to any newborn whether he is born poor or rich.

Shaheed bhagat singh

"Bhagat Singh was not trying to become a hero; he was just doing what he thought could bring about a change in the country. We made a hero out of him because he is our need today"
Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra Director of Rang De Basanti

Thousand of people have laid there life for independence of our nation and among those martyr bhagat singh has a special place. today i am dedicating this blog to this true patriot who laid his life along with rajguru and sukhdev on 23 rd march 1931.  he was just 23 yrs 5 months old when he died for his nation without even blinking. he did not use the bomb, he used the blast to get heard. He was not against the ‘goras’ (white men), it was their exploitation that he opposed. He wanted the ‘thought’ to change. He said "I have been arrested while waging a war. For me there can be no gallows. Put me into the mouth of a cannon and blow me off.”–Such was the audacity of this man .
At the gallows Bhagat singh refused to wear the black cloth on his face and told British officer-you are lucky to see how happily Indians go to gallows for the nation. The intellectual level and purity of  mind of this great person can be easily gauged by his thoughts.
"The aim of life is no more to control the mind, but to develop it harmoniously; not to achieve salvation here after, but to make the best use of it here below; and not to realise truth, beauty and good only in contemplation, but also in the actual experience of daily life; social progress depends not upon the ennoblement of the few but on the enrichment of democracy; universal brotherhood can be achieved only when there is an equality of opportunity - of opportunity in the social, political and individual life." — from Bhagat Singh's prison diary,
i would like to pay my reverence to the greatest martyr of nation.

Scam-driven country

Perhaps in the regime of UPA led government country has witnessed a plethora of scam which has burnt a huge hole in indian exchequer. 2G spectrum,CWG games scams are in spotlight. The role of CAG and Supreme Court in exposing these scams is really appreciable. Both these scams have put all other scams to shame.Apart from these scams  a recent report claims that in 2009 estimated $54.2 billion has being lying in non-Indian banks.Enormous amount of nation's money was driven out by tax evasion, in addition to corruption and crime, report said.Politicians as well as businessmen have plundered the nation's wealth. The report has stated that post-1991 economical reforms, a large portion of the wealth has flown outside the nation. It states that in the last six decades, India has lost nearly $462 billion due to this illegal and unaccounted flow of money.
In response to this prime minister manmohan singh has shrugged off responsibility for scams ,stating that these are by products of coalition politics but assured that proper action would be taken against the wrongdoers.whatever be the result but it has certainly showed the dirtiest side of indian politics and it is certainly not going to be forgotten from the memories of people.
