Shaheed bhagat singh

"Bhagat Singh was not trying to become a hero; he was just doing what he thought could bring about a change in the country. We made a hero out of him because he is our need today"
Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra Director of Rang De Basanti

Thousand of people have laid there life for independence of our nation and among those martyr bhagat singh has a special place. today i am dedicating this blog to this true patriot who laid his life along with rajguru and sukhdev on 23 rd march 1931.  he was just 23 yrs 5 months old when he died for his nation without even blinking. he did not use the bomb, he used the blast to get heard. He was not against the ‘goras’ (white men), it was their exploitation that he opposed. He wanted the ‘thought’ to change. He said "I have been arrested while waging a war. For me there can be no gallows. Put me into the mouth of a cannon and blow me off.”–Such was the audacity of this man .
At the gallows Bhagat singh refused to wear the black cloth on his face and told British officer-you are lucky to see how happily Indians go to gallows for the nation. The intellectual level and purity of  mind of this great person can be easily gauged by his thoughts.
"The aim of life is no more to control the mind, but to develop it harmoniously; not to achieve salvation here after, but to make the best use of it here below; and not to realise truth, beauty and good only in contemplation, but also in the actual experience of daily life; social progress depends not upon the ennoblement of the few but on the enrichment of democracy; universal brotherhood can be achieved only when there is an equality of opportunity - of opportunity in the social, political and individual life." — from Bhagat Singh's prison diary,
i would like to pay my reverence to the greatest martyr of nation.
inquilab jindabad (long live the revolution).
